Watch this space.
In the hazy cityscape spires pierce the heavens. Light bleeds downwards, reddened dripping onto roof tops. I look around to a wall of gargoyles. Hideous faces stare down. Some of them contorted into grimaces of agony. Others stare scatterbrained, ugly with stupidity. All of them are looking at me. I look away. I can still feel their presence on my back, although overwhelmingly it's the spires that hold presence in my mind. The gargoyles are forgotten. I want to see the city from a high vantage, but I am stuck and ground level, cursed to look upwards. I walk. Cobbles underfoot.
